Message 1. Each cubic foot of high humidity air injested is less dense than a comparable low humidity volume at the same temp and pressure, and the less dense charge will produce less power. However there is a certain amount of combustion cooling with the high humidity air that will lower the tendency for knock and this may offset some of the power loss.
